Add some authentic vintage aircraft style to your classic trailer rebuild. We scored a limited supply of these beautiful new old stock WEMAC aluminum swivel lights surplus.
Aircraft reading lights are high quality and usually quite expensive to find in this condition. We have a few and will not have more when these are gone. They are solid aluminum and mounted with 4 screws (not provided).
The base is 2-3/4" diameter. The light projects out approximately 1-1/2" from the base.
Installation requires a minimum depth of 1-3/4" from back of mounting plate to back of wire terminals. The positive and ground wires are attached to the back with secure terminal screws. We suggest fully taping or wrapping the contact areas to keep them isolated from each other as the wires need to have a bit of slack in them to allow for movement as the directional light swivels.
This light does not come with a bulb. It has a BA15S bayonet socket. This is the same socket that ANSI 1156 and many other automotive bulbs fit. When found in an old Beechcraft plane, it would have had an incandescent 1385 bulb. A 1383 bulb can also be used but is not quite as bright. An LED equivalent is advised if you want less battery draw.
